Becoming an international nurse in the United States can be a difficult and overwhelming process. This is a process that requires many long nights of studying, large investments of money, and often feeling lonely and isolated. But just when I felt tired, hopeless, overwhelmed and without an answer about what to do next, a message came to me from an amazing person named Mine.

While I was living in Colombia I was in touch with many different agencies that promised to help me through the relocating process. For a large price they usually offered me more than was realistic. Their intent was to get as much money from me as possible, and take advantage of my vulnerable position.

I consider it good luck that Mine found me. She helped me find an excellent place to work as a registered nurse in America. She took care of every detail during the process of interviews, immigration, and starting a new life in California. She is the most professional and honest person that I could ever have hoped to find. Since the very first time that I spoke with Mine on the phone, I had trust and faith in her. She was always clear, honest, and kind. She helped me overcome each and every obstacle that presented itself during each step of the process.

Mine helped me when I needed it the most and I am sure she will always be doing her best for any international nurse that needs help.

2005 senesinde ogrenci olarak Amerikaya geldim. Kuzey Kaliforniada bir evde bakim sirketi bana cok vaatlerde bulundu, neticede benden sadece kendi cikarlarini gozeten kontratlar imzalamami isteyince,benden once gelen ve o sirketle calisan arkadaslarin yasadigi sorunlari goz onune alarak orada ise baslamamaya karar verdim.

Ogrenci vizemin bitmesine uc gun kala, acilen sponsor bulmam gerekiyordu, bes aylik bebegimle hic bir yardim, aile, akraba olmaksizin ayakta durma mucadelesi veriyordum. 

Internette bir imkan ararken Kismet Nurse Providersi buldum,kaybedecek vaktim yoktu hemen aradim. Kismet i aradigim zaman karsimdaki ses cok guven vericiydi, butun sorularima durustce cevap verdi. Bu kadar kisa bir surede halledilebilecegine inanmamama ragmen, Mine "sen buraya gelmeden hic bir sey yapamam" deyince Mineye guvendim ve ertesi gun borc para bularak san Francisco dan Los Angeles e  bes aylik bebegimle geldim.

Los angelese gelirken bilinmezligin verdigi korku ve endiselerim vardi, ama baskada yapacak birseyim yoktu denemek zorundaydim.

Geldigim ayni gun bana sponsor olan ve halen calistigim hastahaneyle cok iyi bir ucret, hic bir avukat masrafi vermeden kontrat imzaladim, ve hatta tasinmam icin biraz para yardimi bile yaptilar.Herseyin bukadar kisa surede olduguna kendim bile inanamadim, telefonda bana guven veren o ses beni hayal kirikligina ugratmamisti.Sadece bana is bulan birisi olarak degil, Mine ve ailesi benim Los Angelesdeki ailem oldular, evimi tutmaktan ,arabami almaya kadar, her an yanimdaydilar, onlarin sayesinde Los Angelese geldigimde basimi sokacak guzel bir evim vardi, hayatim duzene girdi, belirsizligin getirdigi korkularim Mine ve Gungor agabeyin bana verdigi guven ve destekle ortadan kalkti.

Temmuz 2007 de Green cardimi aldim, hayatim duzenli ve guven verici, Amerikada Mineyi tanimak basima gelen en guzel seylerden biriydi, onun sayesinde butun hayatimiz degisti, simdi ailece Mine ye ve esine sukran borcluyuz.

MINE, A TRUE FRIEND, A MOTHER, A SAVIOR..

          2 years ago, I came to America with a working visa as an OT. However, I am also a RN.  After many months working with my company, I receive no news of their interest to petition me as an immigrant.  I went to the southern CA to visit my relatives, and there is where I met Mine. She is not only wonderful; she is a true person. Because of the imminent retrogression that time, I confided to her that atleast I wanted to be able to finished my contract with the company that help me with my working visa.  Mine, being so down to earth understands my dilemma. Being an openhearted person, she wasted no time in looking for a hospital that can help me. She follows me up. In just few weeks, I found myself signing my papers and submitting my requirements.  She puts her heart and soul to whatever she is doing. She conscientiously calls me up and updates me with what is going on.  We gone through some ups and downs, but she never gave up, she constantly calls my wife and me.  She never stopped her pursue to put my family and me to the right place. In 10months time since I met her, I am not only gainfully employed as a RN in the hospital that Mine placed me. I am also elated of being an immigrant and Im looking forward to be a citizen in a few more years.  All this I owe it to Mine.  Shes not only a friend.  She is like a mother to every person she works with.  She treats me as her own family. The care and concern she endlessly showed is just natural of her.   She persistently helps and guides my family and me where I am now. My family and I dont know how to repay her.  We pray that Gods grace be with her and her family always.    Long live and more power to you, Mine!!!!!!!
